I created this image for Remembrance Day.
I named it courage.
It shows just some of levels of courage that soldiers have to endeavour – From the trenches in combat, to the aftermath of carrying the coffins of the fallen.
Speaking with highly decorated war hero Harry Billinge MBE LdH on his final birthday last year was a great honour and privilege for me. Being a survivor of the Normandy landing all them years ago, Harry was still every bit the soldier and I could feel the strength and courage from him even at the age of 96.
I dedicate this picture to all the brave and courageous soldiers.. you will never be forgotten.
