Edgar Wood treated architecture as an art & therefore referred to himself as artist-architect.
Living in Middleton, Manchester it would be hard to not have come across a building which Mr Wood hasn’t designed. From houses to schools Edgar was a true artist ahead of his time. Through researching his work I was blown away by how much he achieved. This piece I created as a tribute to such a great Artist-architect.
