Music has always played a huge part in my life. From when I was a baby only sleeping if I had Bob Marley on, to imitating DMX and masking into his persona which helped me through hard times in my life.
I created this collection in one night. I am struggling to regulate my emotions at this moment in time, so to have a topic to focus my mind on through creativity helps me ride out the hard times.
In a collection like this, I try to keep this images very similar but also make each one unique. Each one of these musical icons are sadly no longer with us (most through untimely deaths – which I have only realised whilst writing this) so I have put a halo of light coming from their head linking all 9 images.
