Whalley Abbey

I took this photograph on a walking trip out to Whalley Abbey in Lancashire. As soon as I saw the set up I knew I could make a strong picture out of a photo if the angle was right. Although I am not a religious person I still feel the depiction of Christ on the cross is a very strong image.

I wanted to create a colourful, dramatic moody sky & have it feed over the picture. I feel I got the overall outcome that I was after with my digital editing.
