The Maggie Oliver Foundation Fundraising Ball 2024

I met Maggie a couple of years ago through helping out with art donations for another charity and immediately we connected. Since then we have become good friends and she is someone I really admire for many reasons. One of them is her fight for justice which is something that really resonates with me and why I try to support her and the foundation when I can.

Helping survivors move on with their lives.

The Maggie Oliver Foundation (TMOF) exists to create a society where survivors and those at risk of childhood sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) are empowered to live fulfilled and successful lives, and where every survivor is treated with dignity, respect and as an equal and valued member of society. We can only provide emotional support and legal advocacy to those who are based in United Kingdom.

This year I have created another one off piece of art which I have donated for the Silent Auction with all funding going to The Maggie Oliver Foundation.

Art Description: I wanted to capture some of the positive energy that The Maggie Oliver Foundation stands for.

I felt using a pop-art style was the most fitting so that I could add many aspects in an abstract way whilst telling a visual story.

I like for my art to have many layers and for the viewer to spot different elements each time they look.

What do you see…?

Printed onto glass with added resin to promote the pop-art style, mounted in a deep white scoop frame to make the colours really stand out.

My one off piece of art (along with many other amazing donations) is available now on the Live Auction on the link below.
