22nd May 2017 is a date Manchester & the world will never forget.
After my ‘Bees About Town‘ artwork was put up at Oxford road Station, Manchester in 2020 I have formed a great relationship with Northern Rail. I already have two images that I have created in memory of the 22 people who’s lives was taken in the horrendous attack, but whilst speaking to one of the managers he suggested I create another that they may put up at Victoria Station. Being a self taught artist & having learned my craft in the past 3/4 years this meant so much to me.
To have been asked to create a piece of artwork for this, for me is the greatest honour. I cannot put it into words how it makes me feel.
The three images that I created are now on the columns next to Victoria Stations Memorial as a permanent fixture.
My heart & thoughts go out to the families, friends & everyone affected by this tragedy.
